Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a great location next to the subway station for easy access to Manhattan. The rooms were small but had plenty of plugs and even a microwave. The service was friendly and helpful, especially with printing out boarding passes. The dining options were good, offering a variety of hot and cold items. However, parking was limited and required an additional fee, which was not ideal.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were surprisingly quiet despite being next to an elevated railway, but they faced the noisy rail track right outside the window which might bother light sleepers. The service was outstanding, especially with my special requests, and the friendly staff made my daily work at a Brooklyn Hospital much easier. The location, while close to convenient subway access, was a bit uncomfortable due to the presence of many homeless people between the subway station and the hotel. The dining options were standard fare, and I appreciated the provided breakfast. However, I didn't feel very safe in the neighborhood, particularly returning late at night, which led to high taxi expenses. The price was fair for what was offered.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, despite being on the first floor facing Atlantic Avenue, were clean and well-equipped with compact fridges and very nice bathrooms. However, the noise from traffic and train outside was a downside. The service was outstanding, with staff going out of their way to be accommodating and welcoming. The location in Brooklyn was convenient for subway access, but it looked a bit dicey and was only accessible by driving in the opposite direction to what is legal during the day. The dining experience was great with a variety of options, but the facilities seemed lacking in some aspects.
